Note:There will not be
a need to do this in versions following 2005.7.15 because it
is included as a checkbox in the deployment wizard.
Overview
There have been many requests
for the ability to push VNC to remote computers without the icons in
the start menus of the remote computers. While this will be an
option in the deployment wizard in future versions, you can get this
functionality now by following the directions below.
How it's done
Download the custom vnc7.cmd script
here. Extract the
command script over the top of the existing one located in
c:\fastpush\vnc7.
From here on, any install that you
push will not create icons on the remote computer. This is a
global change.
