Remotely Edit Startup Programs On Your Network

Introduction

    VNCScan Is the first notable network management tool that will remotely manage the startup programs on remote computers.  There are a variety of stand alone utilities that will let you do this on your local PC but not over the network like VNCScan can!

     This is just one of the many time saving features in VNCScan Enterprise Network Manager.  You can click here to download a free trial if you haven't already.

Note: You may need to use an administrative login to perform these functions on remote computers.  More information about how to do this with VNCScan is here.

  • Windows 2000 or better (minimum)
  • TCP/UDP Port 139 open on the firewall
  • Remote Registry Service must be started

How It's Done

1. Right-click a computer and  choose 'Windows tools' then 'AutoRuns Editor'.
